Integrative Meditation
(using the process of Genpo Roshi Big Mind)
To transcend the ego first we must include ...
To go further, we must first integrate what we have here and now, in time and space ...
the 16th of April will be a special day which will be attended by Alejandro Villar DOSMILVACAS.arte - Ponferrada for a workshop on meditation Big Mind (Great Mind).
Big Mind is a technique that comes from both the Western psychological tradition and the Eastern Zen tradition. Offers a very simple way, but fast and powerful, easy to change perspective and taste the realization of our non-dual essence , something that a meditator can take many years to achieve.
The creator of the Big Mind process
The Big Mind process has been developed by Zen Master Dennis Genpo Merzel that has thirty years of formal practice of Zen and twenty-five years teaching in this way. Dennis Genpo Merzel began working with Gestalt therapy in 1967 and in 1983 began studying the technique of Jungian voice dialogue, under the guidance of Hal and Sidra Stone. In 1999, after a long traditional Zen teaching experience using the dialogue of voices in their work with groups, Genpo Roshi developed a method of linking the Eastern and Western approaches.
How Big Mind born
The fact of working with students in both the Zen "traditional" Western therapeutic techniques such as scanning, let him find a way through which human beings could take his ego at will and discover its true nature or "Big Mind" (Great Mind).
The Buddha had his realization of the Great Mind 2600 years ago. Had to spend all that time for humanity to come to this crossroads. East and West are now beginning to talk and there are many people ready to see both wisdom.
